Let me start out by saying Kayla is such a sweetheart!
We started discussing a concept and immediately we realized how much we had in common, starting with our styles and the inspiration we were sending each other.
Within a week of our first contact we planed and had our first shoot!
On the day of the shoot we met up and I had a feeling things weren’t going to go so well…
It was in the upper 90s out and I was sweating just thinking about it!
But as soon as Kayla and I met up she said “I love the heat”… NO LIE!
I said “But your wearing a denim jacket..” she replied “No big deal!” and I’m thinking “This girl is about it, I like that!”.. Not very many girls are about it like Kayla!
So we’re rolling, we make our way to the park and I’m already somewhat regretting the time and location due to the heat
(I was wearing black skinny jeans.. noob mistake, I know), but Kayla was so about it and we just started shooting!
As soon as I saw the Steel City Pops stand I knew it was going down; and it was a perfect photo op.
I took this time to get to know Kayla a little better.. As I hope you can tell I like to develop a deeper connection with everyone I shoot and work with.
Kayla is a dancer for the Dallas Stars and she nannies in her off time but she is always traveling and doing exciting things and always dancing.
I was mentioning Nicole who I shot with a while back and come to find out Kayla and Nicole know each other and come from the same small town! What are the chances?!
Kayla has to be one of the most uplifting, joyful, fun to be around people I’ve ever met.
I like to think I’m funny sometimes, I swear Kayla never stopped laughing. I’m beginning to think there may be something wrong with her.. Cause I’m really not that funny.
We had a blast and I made a new friend! I look forward to working with you and going on adventures together!
Thank you so much Kayla for being the fun and great girl that you are!
